Account and credits

What happens to credits if a task fails?

Understand reserved, consumed, and returned credits, and why a charge may still be pending.

01 A reservation sets aside the task budget

After a request is accepted, its credits are reserved and your available balance decreases. Reserved credits are not necessarily all consumed; check the settled entry for the final amount.

02 Conversation and generation are recorded separately

Credit history in account settings separates conversation and generation usage. A reservation is shown as one entry with the consumed and returned amounts after settlement, rather than being counted again as another purchase.

The workspace and pricing page show the current credit rules and available top-ups. A test-credit label does not establish a cash value, and an unavailable plan cannot be purchased.

03 Failed or stopped tasks may still need review

A failed or stopped task may already have incurred a cost. Confirmed costs are settled and unused credits are returned according to the actual outcome. A reservation remains pending when its cost cannot yet be confirmed.

Do not create another task just to refresh its status. Refresh the task and credit history first. If anything remains unclear, describe the issue in service feedback.
